ARTIST STATEMENT:
I have been painting for over 20 years. From the beginning my art has been described as “Chagally”. It is illustrative and colorful. Exuberant colors, beautiful rhythmic music, and a connection and appreciation of nature are what inspire my paintings. Painting brings me great joy and it is my hope that the viewer will experience that pleasure. I have exhibited throughout the local area and nationally. My paintings have been on the covers of national magazines. The most recent commissioned work was for the Opera Guild for their annual membership booklet, previous work such as posters, invitations, note cards, etc. include the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio and other nonprofit organizations. I also have a mural at the S.A. Children’s Museum and have done a mural for St. Joseph’s Church.
