Flowers are everyone’s gift of peace and joy. They are nature’s way of reminding us of beauty, fragility, and hope. Each bloom, whether wild or cultivated, is a quiet celebration of life and rebirth.
In their brief existence, they bud, bloom, and fade—sometimes within mere days. Yet in that short time, they pour out their color, their fragrance, their delicate liveliness, without reservation. While painting flowers, my goal is to capture their essence, in form and spirit. There is freedom in their openness, in the way they reach toward the light, and in their unrestrained brilliance. -Sarah
